The PPG Industries Foundation has donated more than $20,000 on behalf of PPG Industries’ (NYSE:PPG) coatings plant in Circleville, Ohio, to seven local organizations that provide educational and human-services programs to the community.

The recent grants helped:
·         Circleville City Schools continue to provide educational opportunities for students;
·         Pickaway Progress Partnership (P3) promote a strong business environment and deliver economic development services and programs in Pickaway County;
·         Future City Competition, Ohio Region, implement its project-based learning experience offering middle-school students the opportunity to work with engineers to imagine and create cities of the future;
·         Ohio Christian University offer its “Kids on Campus” summer program that educates elementary school students in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM);
·         Ted Lewis Museum educate local students about music;
·         United Way of Pickaway County support various organizations and activities; and
·         The Ohio State University’s Women in Engineering (WiE) program continue efforts to increase WiE students’ participation in engineering project teams.

“Each of these organizations does great work offering opportunities and support in the Circleville community, and we hope this funding will help them continue and expand their valued efforts,” said Dave Moss, PPG plant manager at the Circleville facility. “PPG is pleased to support organizations that directly impact its communities and improve the lives of our youth and residents.”
